INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION OF STYLE SPECIFIC CURRICULA

Academy of Traditional Martial Arts is responsible for development of style specific global curricula of Tao International Martial Arts Association. International Dojos (Training Centers) of each style represent their own individual curriculum of study as approved and accredited by the Academy of Traditional Martial Arts.

Joining Masters and Instructors may submit a written curriculum of their style for evaluation to the Association.  Association will evaluate the given curriculum and may grant Institutional Accreditation to the School where the particular curriculum is being instructed. Institutional Accreditation stays in effect for the duration of two years from the date of Issuance of Accreditation Certificate.  Accreditation panel review takes approximately four weeks.  Accredited Institutions may register and certify their students through Tao International Martial Arts Association.  Black Belts who are already a Black Belt Member of the Association  may inquire about receiving Institutional Accreditation for their programs.
Accreditation board review fees are comparable to fees charged by other independent accreditation institutions which grant accreditation to post secondary educational and training institutions with two and four year programs.
Accreditation may be granted based on:

A) Institutional Effectiveness in curriculum delivery.
B) Effectiveness of the annual professional development plan implemented by Instructional faculty at a given institution.

Worldwide, approximately six hundred different styles of martial arts are recognized as using the system of Tao (Do), principals of which belong under the banner of Tao International Martial Arts Association.
