The Measure of Your Progress In Martial Arts
White Belt to Tenth Degree Black Belt (10th Dan)
In our Association each belt color represents mental, spiritual and physical progression in Tao (Do), the original philosophy of martial arts. Term used for Martial Arts in Chinese is Wu Tao (Wu Shu for "Martial Skill"), in Japanese it is Bu Do (Tao), and in Korean it is Mu Do (Tao). Regardless of origin, martial arts are based on philosophy of Tao. Philosophy of Tao is universal, it surpasses country specific names, languages, labels and, dogmas. Martial arts, is a matter of doing, instead of speaking, where practice leads to perfection, progression leads to achievement. For a Martial Artist Tao, the Way, is in the training. It is each individuals own effort, placement and initiative that gets them what they want out of martial arts. It is each individuals personal freedom to interpret what really is. Our ranking system provides the ground work for understanding martial arts for your self. Study itself is a lifetime endeavor. Starting level is white belt, and the ranking system progresses to 10th Degree Black Belt. Depending on the type of authorized uniform, either Belts or Sashes are worn.

ADVANCED RANKING SYSTEM
Black Belt Levels comprise the advanced ranking system. There are Ten Degrees of Black Belt. First four levels are Instructor levels, rest of the ten levels are Master Instructor levels.
