Welcome to the Official Hapkido Hawaii website.
We have been teaching and promoting the Authentic Martial and Healing Art of
 HAPKIDO
in the Aloha State since 1993. 
 


Notice:

Although I will keep this site up a while longer for the sake of nostalgia,
as of April 2008 I am retiring from teaching Hapkido.
 It been a fruitful but equally painful 30+ year career being involved in martial arts. 
I continue to learn and improve myself through my own practice, however I no longer wish to teach the art to the general public. 
I am no longer interested in being involved in Hapkido Instruction and would like to disassociate myself from the martial arts crowd  in general. 
I will work out with the remaining black belts I have trained, focus on my own training, but that's about it.
 Things I have learned from practicing Hapkido, have helped me achieve
most of my dreams and aspirations.  Thank you for your support over the years,
My involvement in Hapkido has changed my life for the better, and kept me on track. 
I hope your involvement in Hapkido will do as much for you as my involvement has done  for me. 
Take care of those joints, be nice to your hips, watch the falls, avoid the head traumas, pivot right way so you keep your knees for a while.  There is more to life than training. 
Don't be your own worst enemy, and beat yourself up more than any body else.
Rest is up to you, as to what you make of the whole experience.

This part of the demo mostly consisted of Mr.O talking and explaining stuff slow motion, but it might still give you some ideas about the type of techniques involved in study of Hapkido.
