Mr.O's started in Asian Martial Arts
and Healing Arts in 1976, he has been studying and training
uninterrupted ever since. He has studied variety of martial arts
systems of Japanese, Okinawan, Chinese and Korean origin. Eventually, following the
path of traditional martial arts instructors of the past, Mr.O received traditional education in Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine. His most memorable experiences in martial arts has
been in Mas Oyama's Kyokushinkai Karate and in Hapkido, as a private
disciple and top student of Hapkido Grandmaster Kyung Choi.

Although a multi talented martial artist, Mr. O's is widely recognized in Hawaii, for his
accomplishments in Hapkido and
for his Annual
Heavenly Masters Day Chi Kung Martial Arts Demonstrations (Which he has
performed at a local Taoist Temple for many years).

The Philosophy of Yin and Yang
Mr.O's
believes that ancient healing arts should be promoted along side of martial
arts, since the combination of both represents the perfect balance. His
early interests in ancient Unani and Turkish Medicine, has led him
to study of Chinese Chi Kung,
Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Taoist Medicine under Heavenly Master Chang I Hsiang, Taoist Masters
Au Yang Tao I, and Sze Hsuan Mei. A Licensed Acupuncturist and
a Chinese Herbalist, Mr.O's currently operates a wellness company in
Honolulu Hawaii, O's Acupuncture and Martial Arts, which maintains its

Mr.O's is also a professional teacher with
academically diverse background in business, computer technology, social
sciences, education and healthcare. His teaching experience spans all possible
Educational levels. He has been a teacher for an amazing number of
classes: Over forty separate subjects in all academic levels from
Kindergarten to Professional Graduate School! His philosophy is simple:
a martial artist should be a life time scholar, always focusing on self
improvement and helping others.

For the Martial Artist the "Way" is in the training
Mr. O enjoys to train. If he looks familiar on the picture above,
it's because you have seen him (and his stomach) on national TV many
times, featured on infomercials. Currently he can be seen on
all major TV networks in the United States, and Canada; also
in select international broadcasts across the globe. Locally,
Mr.O appears on several commercials and has been featured on a
martial arts documentary.

So What is with the name?
It is Oguz (pronounced O's). It
comes from Oguz Khan, read more about Oguz Khan and his contributions to
Martial Arts here.How does one teach
40 subjects in all academic levels?
Just like martial arts: Show up, challenge yourself, learn
and do it. If you are worried about how hard it will be to
do something, you have just spent your valuable time worrying
instead of working .
What is with all the training?
Mr.O cycles his training just like a professional athlete.
At his peak cycles, he trains up to six hours per day and drops
down to as low as 4% body fat .
